I guess I should start with what art school did teach me. It taught me not to rely on the administration to manage my degree/ career. It taught me that others have an agenda and if you don't speak up your ideas will end up on the cutting room floor. That you get what you put into it. That this industry is still very male dominated. And nothing comes easy. They did however give me a good art foundation. Unfortunately their Storyboard program failed to provide a proper education to step into an industry job. I would find my real education in the form of friends and mentors I found long my way.
So after 5 yrs of art school and 100k in student loans I moved to LA to start my adventure.
